From one kitchen to a movement
The story of Adakings is the story of the people who believed in it first — our founder, our team, and our customers.
Founder’s Letter
“Kingsley K. Adase founded Adakings with a simple conviction: Ghanaian food deserves a fast-food experience that matches its flavor. Starting from a single kitchen near campus, he built Adakings around fresh, made-to-order meals, fair treatment of staff, and a commitment to reinvesting in the communities Adakings serves. He now leads the brand's growth across Accra and its expansion into franchising.”

Year One
One kitchen, one belief
Adakings opened its first location near campus with a simple promise: Ghanaian food, done right, served fast.
Growth
A second branch, then a third
Word spread across hostels and lecture halls. Customers kept coming back, and Adakings grew into new corners of Legon.
Today
A family of branches
Now serving students and staff from TF Hostel to Bani Hostel to UGMC, with franchise partners bringing Adakings even further.

Our Mission
Serving food that makes Ghana proud
Every branch, every recipe, and every hire is guided by one standard: would we be proud to serve this to our own family? That's the bar we hold ourselves to.
Vision 2030
Adakings is a Ghanaian, black-owned fast food and hospitality company built to bring bold, authentic Ghanaian flavor to more communities without compromise. From our first kitchen to a growing family of campus and city branches, we serve fried rice, jollof, and grilled favorites made fresh every day, while investing in the people and communities we serve through local sourcing, youth training, and franchise partnerships across Ghana.
Hungry? Let's fix that.
